I blog because I love preserving memories.
My last post was well over a month ago because in my mind and heart I had shut it down. When I switched to a new blog I didn't like the web address, the design, the title...easy things to change but I lost all momentum. I was completely at peace with never doing another post and keeping it active only until I get through the tedious process of publishing years of posts into a book. I really had no intention of ever writing another entry. My heart wasn't in it anymore and I can get uncomfortable with not knowing who is reading. I'm not terribly concerned with bad guys; sometimes simply putting us out there feels vulnerable to judgement. I had decided to document life in another, more private way that gets me excited; project life.
However, this week I scrolled through my camera and found so many moments that have gone undocumented. I got sad and missed my online scrapbook. I still am not sure exactly where I am going to land with project life versus maintaining a blog. Maybe I will do both; maybe only one will prevail.
I have been slightly re energized to keep up with this but I am still not confident it will last. Until I make more concrete decisions about the future of this blog; here is a handful of things we've been up to.
Ben found a "cozy" place in the natural history museum to let caroline nap.
Our garden grows!
one. two. three. when when when will we get rid of her beloved pacifiers?
